Encore Theatre Company is always keen to encourage new members to take an active role in the Company’s activities. Anyone interested in joining Encore Theatre Company can be sure of a warm welcome.
Encore rehearsals are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at St Joseph's Primary School, Pontefract Road, Castleford. Rehearsals for each production normally commence in February and September respectively each year.
Usually the Company stages two productions in each calendar year; a musical production in summer and a pantomime in January, most recently at Castleford Civic Centre and Normanton Junior Academy respectively.
Our current membership comprises people of various ages, who find their involvement enjoyable and rewarding. However, depending on the choice of production in a particular year, we may have to restrict applications from new members under 16 years of age.
